Getting your Head in the Right Space
I have been interested in Meditation, Hypnotherapy, Quantum Physics and The Power of the Mind for many years. Through reading a myriad of books, researching various findings and completing a range of qualifications to do with the mind and teaching I am well aware that whatever you tell your mind it believes you. I have researched methods on myself and others and know this to be true. However it wasn’t me that discovered this it has been known by a select few for hundreds of years. One of my favourite
quotes is from Henry Ford who said “Whether you think you can or think you can’t either way you are right”
There are various exercises I do when running my seminars which prove this and once you understand how powerful this is it will change your life forever.
It takes a while to get used to listening to the words you use and even harder is recognising the words you use when you talk to yourself, those words in your head that like to make up worst case scenario stories when you worry and the ‘what if?’ dramas that you work through when the problem hasn’t even occurred. Mark Twain was quoted as saying:
“I’ve had a lot of worries in my life, most of which never happened”
Your subconscious mind runs your life from the words you say and the pictures in your head. If your life is feeling a bit like ‘Ground dog day’ it will be because each and every day you are thinking the same thoughts and picturing the same outcomes. Change has to start from within, as a dream, an affirmation until it turns into a belief, a story that you imagine in detail or even a new experience that you remember in detail. It’s similar to when you buy something new that you feel is unique, yet after you have purchased it everybody seems to have one or you just keep seeing them everywhere. This is because you have created it as real and familiar, so now you see it all the time.
“Change your mind and change you’re Reality” Start thinking, imagining and visualising the change you want to be and it will happen. The key is adding positive emotion to it and making steps towards it, proving to the universe that you have faith and then It Will Happen.
